If you have a history of cold sores, please be aware that lip tattooing may trigger an outbreak. We strongly recommend consulting your physician before your appointment.
If you experience frequent cold sores, please consult your physician to determine whether this treatment is appropriate for you.
IMPORTANT: If you have an active cold sore, outbreak, open lesion, or irritation in the lip area at the time of your appointment, we will not be able to perform the procedure. Please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.

WEEK 1 — HEALING
It is normal for your lips to feel dry, tight, tender, or mildly swollen after your Lip Blush procedure. The color may also appear brighter or more intense at first.
• Apply the recommended healing ointment as directed to keep the lips comfortably moisturized.
• Avoid kissing, rubbing, picking, peeling, or scratching the treated area while healing.
• Avoid spicy, very hot, or highly acidic foods if they cause irritation.
• After eating, gently clean the lips as directed, pat dry with a clean tissue, and reapply the recommended ointment.
• Avoid makeup or unnecessary products directly on the lips while they are healing.IMPORTANT: Allow any flaking or peeling to shed naturally. Do not pick or remove peeling skin.
As the lips heal, the color will soften and may temporarily appear lighter or uneven. This is a normal part of the healing process and is not the final healed result.
-
Lip Blush goes through a normal healing process. During this time, your lips may flake or peel, and the color may temporarily appear much lighter or uneven.
Do not pick or peel the skin. Allow your lips to heal naturally.
As healing continues, the color will gradually return and soften. This temporary fading is normal and is not the final result.
Please allow at least 4 weeks before evaluating your final healed color or determining whether a touch-up is needed.
-
IMPORTANT: Lip Blush is a two-step treatment.
For best results, clients should plan for an initial session followed by a touch-up approximately 6–8 weeks later, once the lips have fully healed.
The initial session alone should not be considered the completed treatment. Color may heal lighter or unevenly after the first session, and additional pigment may be needed during the touch-up to achieve the desired result.
If you are not prepared to complete the recommended touch-up process, please do not book this treatment with the expectation of achieving final results after only one session.

Your Lip Blush appointment takes approximately 3 hours. We’ll begin with a consultation to discuss your desired look, lip color, and overall goals. Before beginning the procedure, we’ll carefully map and pre-draw the lip shape so you can review the design and make any necessary adjustments.
For your comfort, a topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure begins. Additional numbing may be used throughout the appointment as needed to help keep you comfortable.
Once the design and color are approved, the pigment is carefully implanted into the lips in layers to create a soft, balanced result.
After your appointment, your lips may appear brighter or more intense and may experience temporary swelling or tenderness. This is normal and is not the final healed result. The color will soften as your lips heal.
You’ll receive aftercare instructions to follow at home. Proper aftercare and completion of the recommended touch-up are important parts of achieving the best possible healed result.
