Proper preparation helps support the best possible healed results. Please follow these pre-care guidelines to ensure the eye area is healthy, calm, and ready for your permanent eyeliner appointment.

Avoid electrolysis around the eye area for at least one week before your appointment.
Avoid tanning and excessive sun exposure for at least two weeks before your appointment. The treatment area should be free of sunburn or irritation.

Avoid facials, chemical peels, or other exfoliating treatments around the eye area for at least two weeks before your appointment.

Avoid retinol or Vitamin A products around the eye area before your appointment.

Avoid exercising on the day of your appointment.

Avoid Botox around the eye area for at least two weeks before your appointment.

If you take medications or supplements that may affect bleeding, please consult your healthcare provider before making any changes.

Arrive with clean eyes, free of makeup, lash extensions, lash glue, and contact lenses.

Avoid tinting, perming, or curling your lashes for two weeks before your appointment.

Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment.

Discontinue eyelash growth serums before your appointment.

If you take medications that may affect bleeding, consult your healthcare provider before making any changes.

Do not touch, rub, scratch, or pick the treated area. Follow the cleansing and aftercare instructions provided after your appointment.

Avoid sun exposure, excessive sweating, workouts, saunas, and swimming during the initial healing period.

Avoid facials and cosmetic treatments around the eye area for at least 4 weeks.

Sleep on a clean pillowcase and avoid sleeping directly on the treated area.

Avoid contact lenses during the initial healing period if the area feels sensitive or irritated. Wear glasses instead.

Permanent eyeliner typically lasts 1–2 years, but results vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and skincare routine. Oily skin and frequent sun exposure may cause the pigment to fade faster. Maintenance touch-ups can help keep the color looking fresh.

A touch-up may be recommended 4–8 weeks after your initial appointment to refine the healed result and address areas where the pigment may have faded during healing.

Future maintenance touch-ups may be needed as the pigment naturally fades over time.

We do not touch up permanent makeup performed by other artists.

If you have previous permanent eyeliner done by another artist, please send us a clear photo for approval before booking.

Previous work must be evaluated to determine if a new treatment is possible. We do not perform touch-ups over another artist’s work.

Permanent eyeliner goes through a normal healing process. Mild swelling, flaking, or peeling may occur, and the color may initially appear darker before becoming lighter as it heals.

Do not pick or peel the area. The color will continue to settle over the following weeks.

Please allow at least 4 weeks to see the healed result before determining if a touch-up is needed.

IMPORTANT: Touch-ups are NOT included in the initial service price. If a touch-up is needed or desired, it must be booked and paid for separately as an additional service.

Permanent eyeliner will gradually fade over time. Color retention varies from person to person and can be affected by skin type, sun exposure, lifestyle, skincare products, and individual healing.

Oily skin, frequent sun exposure, and certain skincare treatments may cause the pigment to fade faster.

Permanent eyeliner may need to be postponed or may not be suitable if any of the following apply:

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Active eye infections, inflammation, severe dry eyes, or blepharitis
• Recent LASIK, cataract, eyelid, or other eye surgery
• Glaucoma or other chronic eye conditions
• Uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune conditions
• History of keloid or excessive scarring
• Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or other skin conditions around the eyes
• Known allergies to pigments or topical anesthetics
• Current/recent Accutane (isotretinoin) use
• Medications or medical conditions that may affect bleeding or healing
